anyone know where i can find a formula to find how much air pressure can hold a certain weight above water?

was wondering if there is a formula for finding out the power of air pressure vs. water….ie. if i had a canister, and i wanted to know how much weight (or a certain load from above) it would be able to hold up….by just seaing it off at atmospheric prssure, or by adding additional psi to it…
….anyone know what atmospheric pressure at sea level is? and is there a formula for the size of the enclosed “capsule” that will house the are, to determine its “lifting strength to hold a determined amount of weight without the “capsule” itself going very far into the water?

does petland use puppy mills?

im just wondering. im not getting a puppy, but everytime i go to petland to just play with the puppies or get my gerbils food or fluff, i always notice the poor little puppies in those tanks with a wired bottom so the pee and poop does through the squares. i think its mean, they should all be together in a big, big, big play pen with beds and actual water bowls and not those rabbit water bottles they use. its just silly. they have a sign thing at my petland saying why you should buy a petland puppy, and like one of the reasons is that they dont use “puppy mills” and that they inspect where they get their puppies and they get some at local breeders.i dont believe this. i always hear that they do use puppy mills. but petland says they dont. what do you think?

How environmentally friendly is the Hotel Industry?

Just one example. Every hotel I stay in has these so-called scald free showers. The only way to operate them is to turn the handle counter-clockwise so that only cold water is on at first. This prevents an inadvertent scald. You then turn the handle to introduce hot water so as to get a comfortable temperature. The whole aim is to control temperature. The problem is that there is no way to control volume. At a comfortable temperature the water is coming out like a Tsunami. This is a horrible waste of water and a waste of energy to heat the water. I think the Hotel Industry is missing a chance here to be more environmentally conscious. They must design a better fixture.

why did my water output lose pressure for both hot and cold water when I changed to smaller water heater?

what is the name of the cartoon that sold sugar water in the saloon and they rode on rocket powered horses .?

the setting for the cartoon was supposed to be in the wild west, but only futurized. It was a part of the Saturday morning catoon line up back in the early 90′s
