illegals….cheap labor?

“cheap labor” is a lie. Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $7.00 or $8.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an “earned income credit” of up to $3,200 FREE money!
He will also qualify for, Section 8 housing and subsidized rent, food stamps, and free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care .His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school. He requires bilingual teachers and books .
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at the taxpayer’s expense.
He doesn’t worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance. Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed materials.
This family receives the equivalent of $25-$30/hr just in benefits paid by you.

Why are the oil companies threatening to raise prices of gas if oil is “imported”? Are they too cheap to pay?

I’m talking about prop.87 which is supposed to allow for alternative energy sources such as wind and solar power. Those opposed to the bill are mostly oil companies which would be required to pay a tax on the oil produced in California. { I don’t know if this type of legislation is present elsewhere} But why would we have to import oil in the first place. The same thing was done in Texas and Alaska and no oil was imported from outside sources. Is this just a big scare by the oil companies to keep people from voting for this
proposition simply because it would hurt there pockets? I think that the oil companies have a duty to help stop air polution. And if it takes a bill such as proposition 87 to bring this about, then I think the oil companies can certainly afford it without passing the cost down to the consumer……..

Should green homes with solar power, energy savings technology?

Tax exemptions to homes designed to save and create energy shoul be a national debate.

Would you support a fifty cent a gallon ($0.50) gasoline tax to support clean energy incentives?

This tax and ALL the revenues generated would be used to supply tax credits and incentives for all individuals to offset the costs of installing solar panels and systems, wind generators, super insulation, and the purchase of hybrid cars/vehicles

In the state of Wisconsin who do you contact when someone is abusing government benefits?

Someone I know gets, government daycare, health insurance, food stamps, housing help, and energy assistance. We the tax payers are paying for this. At the same time she goes out and drinks, and goes out to dinner, goes shopping for new clothes all the time. And spends ridiculous amounts of money on things like manicures, pedicures, massages and really expensive haircuts. This really makes me mad because I am paying for this by being a tax payer, and I have to work so hard for all the things she gets for free.
