I have an Onan generator in a 1986 winnebago. It worked fine before sitting unused for a hear. Now when I try to start it, it only clicks. I found a similar post that said to check for hydrolock, which I did. I wound up taking it out of the rv to clean it up, (some mice had made use of the insulation above). I tried to Jump it right from a battery, as a similar post suggested, and same thing, it just clicked. So I have two questions, the first one, when I connect the jumper cable to the positive post, how should I be connecting the ground? I just put one end on the mounting case for the generator the other to neg on the battery, and got the same result. Tried moving the ground from the battery to the chasis of the rv, no luck. Am a grounding this properly, and if so, are there any other suggestions. Model is 4 obge 1r 26109c thanks
