When something doesn’t go right or I get criticized, I often either try to eat something really bad for me, like salt, diet soda, bacon, etc.. or else I take tap water, leave it out for a few days and then drink it. I don’t think I really want to kill myself, but I just do this to have some power over the situation and over my life. Kind of like taking myself hostage and telling God you have done this to me and if you don’t improve things I will keep hurting myself. I can’t really explain it, but I always do it and it does bother me. I really think it is an attempt at control..
