how does the intensity of light affect the output of solar cells?
how does the intensity of light affect the output of solar cells?
I would like to find out cost vs. output, average wind speeds and generally how cost relates to the use of wind for private and comercial use. Any input would be appreciated.

If we had 2 wind turbines one directly ahead of the other, would the wind exitting from turbine 1 produce the same power in turbine 2?

The problem Im trying to get at is: How much energy we save by moving the clock one hour ahead. Actually I had such an estimate: Assume each person saves 1 hour per day of the energy from a 100W light bulb this is 0.1kWh energy per person. About 200 mil people in the US would result in a total of 20 GWh energy saved per day. I have no idea how this number compares with the daily electrical output. What fraction ot it it is?

I want build a micro hydro system using AC synchronous generator. So if i get around 3000 RPM before it connected to the generator, whether it (RPM) will be changed after it connected to the generator. Before this i used car alternator and i get 3000 rpm, but when it connect to the alternator the speed decrease to 500 rpm and failed to produce output. Do you have any idea about it?
the alternator also connected to the battery.
