What impact does speed have on age?

If one of two twins were placed in a special capsule which would be left a 0 travel in space what would their age difference be after 20 years.

I’ve heard the old story about one of the twins taking a trip on a spaceship nearing the speed of light, and that the twin in the spaceship would come back younger than his kin. But I was wondering what would happen if one of the twins was kept at complete ZERO space movement. (IE the movement of our earth, solar system and galaxy were completely stopped for one of the twins) Would this twin age faster?

Dr. Scott Petrie- Potential Impact of Wind Turbine Development on Waterfowl

Dr. Scott Petrie gives a powerful, key-word-dense presentation to a large crowd in Goderich, Ontario. Dr. Petrie is both the Executive Director of Long Point Waterfowl and Adjunct Professor at University of Western Ontario. Scott and his graduate students are presently studying various ecological aspects of waterfowl that stage and winter on the lower Great Lakes, including the implications of industrial wind turbine development. The threats associated with improperly placed industrial wind turbines and research being conducted by Long Point Waterfowl staff and students is discussed in this presentation.

Are you an Alaskan family using solar or other altenrative power, or can you help me contact one?

We’re a suburban family of 4 from Michigan. We’re interested in moving to Alaska to live using primarily passive and active solar power and wind, water, etc… Living completely off the grid isn’t a necessity for us, but isn’t out of the question, either. We homeschool (not primarily for religious reasons), we’re concerned about our impact on the planet (we have been since before Gore’s Inconvenient Truth) , and we’re interested in being a part of a community (we’re not interested in being completely isolated). I would like to contact a family who is living similarly to the way we would like to live.

Wave Energy?

I have a geography question and it is..Is Wave Energy enviromentally impact free and can you explain why or why not?

why, in sunny Florida, are there not more homes with whole house solar power?

There are high impact fees for new construction for water, roads, schools etc. For something that has been redily available for years I dont understand why solar power is not used more often. Think of the savings environmentally alone if half the homes,in new subdivisions, had to be solar powered. Not to mention the high electric bills you would save on.
