Does anyone else see the flaw with this plan, If you take profits away from a company when they are having good times (really good times) than don’t you have to subsidise them when times are slow?

The oil companies are not stupid. They know that in 20 years the oil industry is going to fade away. Does anyone believe that if for no other reason than pure greed, they aren’t working on it now so that they can keep us over the barrel even after it is empty?
I think Hilary is spouting off and telling people what they want to hear without thinking about the consequences.
