I smell ammonia coming from my car?

I used to have a Nissan truck and it wall turning into a regular bucket piece of s..t and someone told me it was the catalytic convertor(got rid of the truck and never fixed it to find out) now I have a ford explorer and just changed the radiator water with antifreeze, plus my power steering pump is going out so I think it is putting a drag on my fan belt a little. So we have had temps outside between 75-102 and I notice my temp gage going a little over the C line then drops a little and goes back up. I have already replaced my water pump, thermostat and radiator. I’m thinking the ammonia smell might be coming from the cooling system is this at all possible. Please only real answers of people who know what they are talking about. I really appreciate the help.

I would like to have a All-in-one printer will trade 1990 Ford Tempo needs water pump I live in Centralia,WA?

As far as I know it runs good other than the water pump, I can’t afford to get or pay the labor. It’s a burgundy color, driver’s door was hit and had a leak from rain so I put sealer around the rubber part of frame I knew the stuff was strong but didn’t think it would seal door shut.Somebody with power might get it to open.

Truck has no power…?

My 1990 Ford Bronco has no power.I was told it needed a tune up so I did- no better.air filter ok.Gas treatment didnt help…Checked catalytic converter and its not stopped up.The car will strain when you take off, the rpms go way up to 4k but the car doesnt pick up it just putters kinda like a wind up toy.I can barely get it over 55 on the highway pedal to the floor. Its also idling all over the place on start.
I read here someone else is having a problem like this, could it be the torque converter? The car is also shuddering and clunking into gear. Will a torque converter effect power at all?

HHO fuel…and we aren’t using it because???

I recently saw a CNN report of Denny Klein and his Ford Escort going 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. He converted water to HHO and powered a car with this…the by product being water. The story claimed it was Nuclear Reactor energy with the stability of water.
Mr. Klein is off to Washington to cut a deal for fueling military vehicles…I’m kind of wondering why we don’t use this for cars? I have friends that have rigged their own vehicles to run on Cooking oil…Mr. Klein rigged his own car to run this “nuclear” system…I think he should teach unemployed mechanics to rig other cars in the same manner and they can self-employ their services doing everyone’s cars…

So my questions are, why aren’t we exploiting this technology and why are scientists saying that “we” aren’t ready for this yet? i don’t know about you, but I’m ready to put the thieves at OPEC out of business.

Gutless Ford Ranger part 2?

It is a V6 2.9 rebuilt at Fallon Auto Mall (a ford shop) in Fallon, NV: since, with less than 500 miles, tune up with oil change, air & fuel filter change. When I put the accellerator to the floor it will “creep” to a higher speed and after about 2 miles tops at 80MPH with a strong tail wind. The exhaust system is also rather new (aprox. 1000 miles).

Even with a rebuilt engine my ’88 Ranger 4 X 4 looses 20 MPH on a slight incline and drops dramatically as the hills steepen. Any ideas how I can increase the power?
