What is the title of the movie with the alien and the field of windmills?

The alien’s family is found near a field of wind power generators at the end of the movie.

Collision Problem?

A uniform rod of length L1= 1.8m and M=2.4kg is supported by a hinge at the right end and is free to rotate in the counter-clockwise direction. The rod is released from a horizontal position and hits a particle of mass m (which is supported by a thin string of length L2=1.4m from the hinge. The particle sticks to the rod on contact. After the collision, theta max =35degrees

a) Find mass of particle, m

b) How much energy is dissipated during the collision
The particle is hanging from the hinge vertically and the rod is dropped from the horizontal position
plugged in 6.76kg and still got it wrong

a uniform rod?

a uniform rod of length L is free to pivot around an axis through its upper end. if it is released from rest when horizontal, at what speed is the lower end moving at its lowest point?

(Hint: the gravitational potential energy change is determing by the change in height of the center of gravity.)

Im using a 1 3/4 end mill to surface a piece of thick aluminium. What RPM should the Jet Mill be at?

I am curious as to what speed to run a 1 3/4 ” end mill when surfacing a piece of aluminum round stock. I have been cutting at around 2300 RPM and removing about .0300-.0500 ” each pass but my piece and tool are noticeably hot ( im cooling with an oil/water mixture at the point of contact) any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time for your answers!!!

does stretching before working out prevents stretchmarks?

so last year i worked out ran on traid mill, benched pressed, i did squads, and other kinds of work outs, by the end of the year i did lost about 25lbs, but i ended with lots of stretch marks, in my shoulders from the bench press, in my butt from the squads, even in my legs, and in the waist, i want to keep excercising but i dont want my stretchmarks to increase, i know they will fade with time, and that i can use cocoa butter to soften them up, i drink a lot of water, my question is if i stretch before i work out will there be less chances of getting stretch marks, how can i tell if i m getting them, last year i would tell because it hurt alot on the area i got them. so my new routine is run a mile in a track stretch for about 20 minutes, then run around 4 miles and stretch for another 20 minutes is this a lot of stretching?

Have you ever heard of this?

I was told that you could be paid by the power companies to generate power, connect it to their grid, and they just send you a check at the end of each month. So long as you can keep the wind or water turbines turning and don’t use more power than they produce you get paid that is. If you were very motivated you could even connect a bike to a belt system and do it that way. The companies were supposed to have a program setup for this and I’d like to be able to get in on it if anyone has heard of, or uses this system and thinks it is also a good idea.

What are the crazy looking things I see when driving down the Highway, Specifically I-135?

They are very large white, possibly steel, arms. They have a circle of studs on one end that make it look like they bolt to something. The only thing I could imagine would be blades to a wind generator from a wind farm.

I have been seeing them regularly and I live in Kansas, but does anyone know what they are?
