when someone doesn’t understand that the war in Iraq costs us 12.5 billion dollars per month and …..when someone doesn’t know what a billion dollars is in terms of million dollar units?

***By ending the war in Iraq, Obama would save us 12.5 billion dollars per month. That is over 12 thousand million dollar units per month . ***

***Ending the war in Iraq would easily pay for universal health care, and a free education for all students with good enough grades to get into college, plus the savings would put people back to work working on our bridges and highways and building wind generators, and solar panels to reduce our dependency on foreign oil. ……….. That is how Obama would pay for his proposals to help all Americans. enough said?

I have not once heared of Islamic attacks on brazil why .
If we become oil independent we can leave those nuts alone .
They live in the middle ages for Gods sake and are not going to join the world for some time to come .
They are like that guy in utha with 50 wifes and millions of dollars who have a following .This will not change accept with time and it will be a long time .
The Irish faught with the british for 40 years .Get it in your head you can not change people .

Is the United States finally run by corporations who own most of the politicians on both sides?

It seems as if corporations all have divisions that rely on multi million dollar government contracts and heavy legislation to prevent competition in several key basic needs markets .
The only thing slowing ethanol production is regulatory prohibitions as with hydrogen production and facilities licensed to distribute it . Forget that auto manufacturers also build tanks trucks and government vehicles and will not make simple adjustments to make vehicles compatible with alternative fuels.
.
We also have strong subsidies in our food markets and strict trade agrements on clothing imports .
Our electrical costs are regulated and access to the grid is restricted with only .002% of customers selling back energy to the grid .
They talk a good game but when it comes right down to it free enterprise has been buried under government restrictions regulations and red tape .
All this and the buying of politicians is destroying this nation of free people .
