Why do I miss my live in girl friend of over 6 years?

when she was here all we did was fight about how she could not pay her share of the bills on time (water and power bill,and her cell,her credit cards). I would pay the mortgage, the car insurance,the cable ,take her to dinner,take her shopping,take care of the 3 cats and pug she wanted that I got her.I was very romatic flowers every week.Did all of the cleaning cause she was lazy and I’m clean. She would at times max out her credit cards then not pay them. Then have the nerve to ask how come I have not asked her to marry , and how come I don’t want kids now.She left cause I have yet to ask her to marry me.I wanted everthing she did I just wanted her to be responsible meet me half way.She left over 3 months ago.I’m young good looking have a house drive bimmer but I can’t stop thinking about her.P.S. The sex was the only thing consist 4-5 times a week.

Why should I respect your religion(Xian, Islam, Jew, etc.)?

None of your doctrines established freedom of religion, democracy, nor a Bill of Rights,etc.

Your religion’s beliefs have not resulted in one thing of benefit to mankind. Not one drop of water has been made safe to drink, no disease has been cured, no war has been ended by the beliefs you espouse.

Your home is not air conditioned by any invention of religion. The food that sits in your fridge is produced, transported,processed and refrigerated by technology that derives from science, not religion.

When your son falls seriously ill will it be science that provides the therapy that saves his life? Or will it be your religious doctrine?

When you sit in your church, mosque, or tabernacle, was it religious doctrine that discovered the electricity that powers the lighting therein?

Religious doctrine neither invented the internal combustion machine that you drive to worship meetings nor discovered the refined oil that powers it.

It wasn’t religious dogma that stopped Hitler.

Costly not to have an energy efficient fridge?

We just got a fridge from some friends, and it’s an older fridge (20 years old). It’s still in great condition, but the prev. owner said it just wasn’t energy efficiant. We got it for free, so we’re not too concerened, expecially since we can’t afford a new one right now. Do you know how much a difference it will make in our electric bill? Right now, on average, ours is about $70 (because we’re not using air or heat).
Sorry, I didn’t mean that our bill is $70.00 with the fridge. We just picked it up tonight, and we haven’t even used it yet. Our bill is currently $70.00 (for MID Modesto Irrigation districtn is what we use for air/heat). I just don’t know how much it’s going to go up.

Why are the oil companies threatening to raise prices of gas if oil is “imported”? Are they too cheap to pay?

I’m talking about prop.87 which is supposed to allow for alternative energy sources such as wind and solar power. Those opposed to the bill are mostly oil companies which would be required to pay a tax on the oil produced in California. { I don’t know if this type of legislation is present elsewhere} But why would we have to import oil in the first place. The same thing was done in Texas and Alaska and no oil was imported from outside sources. Is this just a big scare by the oil companies to keep people from voting for this
proposition simply because it would hurt there pockets? I think that the oil companies have a duty to help stop air polution. And if it takes a bill such as proposition 87 to bring this about, then I think the oil companies can certainly afford it without passing the cost down to the consumer……..

Hydro….BC?

My Hydro Bill is unusually high, Im great with lights and I dont leave alot of things running, as I really cant afford to!! My question is, My hot water tank alllows me all of a 10 minute shower if Im lucky!! Can a burnt out burner cause more hydro to be used then nessesary??? And if so……..I rent, is it out of my power to ask my landlord to replace my hot water tank even though it does work a little??? Please remember I live in BC Canada!! thanks a million!!
No, Im talking about Hydro BC, thats electricity!! thats what the bill is called in BC, Canada……Im not talking about water use!! Im talking the heating of the water!!
